We are looking for motivated individuals to join the Purchasing Team!
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Purchasing and your main responsibilities include:
Job Responsibilities
● Source, negotiate and execute order placement of electronic components
● Work with suppliers globally to purchase price competitive electronic components
● Liaise with the Sales Team on customer’s specific components requests and provide inventory information
● Liaise with internal logistics team to ensure purchase orders are carried out in a timely manner
● Build and maintain strong relationship with existing and new suppliers
● Negotiate pricing and terms of business with existing and prospective suppliers
● Identify prospective suppliers to achieve cost savings and bring in high in demand electronic components
● Responsible to provide cost down solutions and support to the sales team
● Involve in continuous improvements in areas of lead-time, cost reductions that meet organizational goal ● which includes risk management
● Support senior management on analyzing industry and demand trends
● Support cost reduction programs for new and existing projects
Job requirements
● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
● Strong sense of urgency and attention to details
● Proactive, excellent communication and negotiation skills
● Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving
● Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
