ABOUT ELECTRONICA 2022
Held every two years in Munich, Electronica is the world’s leading international trade fair for the electronics industry. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the last show was held online in 2020 and Electronica’s return this year to Messe Munich is much anticipated. More than 80,000 participants are expected in Munich from 15-18 November 2022 for a variety of in-person business meetings and professional exchanges. With 3,100 exhibitors from over 50 countries, the entire spectrum of the electronics industry will be covered and presented.
ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS GLOBAL OUTLOOK 2022
According to the *Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), in 2021 semiconductor sales grew 26 percent to $556 billion. The demand for electronic components is set to increase even further due to the rising demand in consumer electronics and automobile manufacturing, putting additional strain on the already disturbed global supply chain since the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, prices of certain components are soaring and the shortage lengthens procurement lead time, delaying manufacturing schedules. Hence, partnering an experienced global distributor like Ample Solutions is crucial in countering the electronic components shortage problem.
